Healthy Families Georgia – Dalton™ is a nationally accredited home visiting program providing voluntary, strengths-based, family-centered support designed to cultivate nurturing parent-child relationships and promote the health and well-being of expectant parents and children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

Healthy Families is founded on the belief that early, nurturing relationships form the foundation for lifelong healthy development. Home visits are provided by Family Support Specialists, caring and skilled professionals who build relationships that create a safe space for learning, build confidence, and promote personal growth. Home visits support parent- child attachment, encourage age-appropriate child growth and development, foster positive parent-child interaction, and provide connections with community resources. Services are tailored to each family’s interests and needs and provided at no cost to program participants.

Healthy Families serves families residing in Whitfield and Murray Counties.
